Fragrance for seasons and purpose

I'm amazed how my Daddy keeps adding. I'm so emotional while typing this, because He showed me last week that He specifically stirred me to start doing these blogs. Not for Him, but for me. He loves us so much. His love for me is my greatest testimony. How He loves us and with the greatest care gives us gifts and embraces us. Giving us exactly what we need, when we need it. He built in me the DNA of a visionary, but with this I tend to just look far ahead at what is next. He has promised much and I'm focused on building for Him...I tend to not enjoy or celebrate what He has already done. The Victory, the sweet blessings and that which He has already built through and in me. These blogs are a reminder of what He has already done in and through me.

I want to take you back to the beginning of 2019. I was watching a movie on TV about a young lady who was called back to her hometown to take over her inheritance. Her father had a perfume company and developed a beautiful fragrance that had to make it to the stores for Valentine’s Day. She didn't have the recipe and had to figure it out in a short time. While watching this program I heard Abba say..."I want you to make perfume". I was taken aback because I haven't done anything in that line ever and I have never dreamed of doing it. I didn't know where to start and for that reason it looked like a mountain in front of me.

The very next day I met friends for time of prayer. When I got to the venue I realised that the lady who lived there has a range of perfumes and other products. My friend told me that she actually does a perfume course and the next one would be in August. I was blown away.

Between the time Abba asked me to make perfume and me actually making it, He led me to make a body balm for a group of ladies. The essential oils had to do with us finding our identity in Him. It speaks of covering, regeneration, purification, us being a royal priesthood and anointed with purpose. I looked up a Hebrew word that would best describe this gift (body balm) and SHEM/SHEMEN came up. It’s the word used to describe NAME/ANOINT. It speaks of your character, anointing and purpose.

I found the following in my search; "In the Jewish custom and tradition a child's name is not given before they are born. This is a relationship with the root שמה (shmh), from whence comes the word שמים (shamayim) meaning the fragrant heavens or fragrant waters. The word בסמין is the word for fragrant spices.". Some reading material (http://www.abarim-publications.com/Dictionary/si/si-mfin.html#.XaRK11UzbIU)

This is how He gave me revelation that making perfume was part of my calling. Just as the root word for SHEM spoke of your name and character, it speaks of your fragrance. Your DNA. As He has given me revelation that purpose is locked up in your name and given me the mandate to bless people with a prophetic word to unlock their purpose. He has given me a perfume fit for this season.

More about the perfume next time...

Shalom
