Your Name Carries Purpose

A couple of years ago I started feeling unhappy with the meaning of my name. I didn't know why this suddenly became a big deal. I just knew there had to be more to it than the meaning "lame". As I searched I found that the Greek verb actually had a more positive meaning to it. So from lame it now meant that I was created to be, someone that others could lean on. God gave me revelation that when people uttered your name it was like a prophecy spoken over you and who you are to others. 

After this someone gave me a piece of paper with Ephesians 3 written on it, saying that it is Gods’ love letter to me. I read it, but only after reading it a few time I received revelation from these verses (14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.) This was God confirming that what I heard him say is correct.

Together with a non-profit organization Agape Hearts, Abba laid on our hearts to do a make-over for ladies in an underprivileged area. Wonderful ladies supported us in doing their hair, giving them each an outfit and taking pictures after a pamper session. As we shared the word regarding their name and purpose the Lord showed me, that He wants to take the plain/broken/lost and adorn them with His beauty; calling them Beloved (His bride) that they may be a sweet fragrance in the world reflecting His glory. As they behold (keep their eyes focused on Him), this will be a gift unto them.

The key is to come as you are and to behold Him. Open your heart to receive from Him the gift that will keep giving. As you open yourself up to receive the puzzle pieces of why He created you, you will start to reflect His glory in magnificent ways.

Receiving a prophetic word regarding your name/character/purpose is a key to unlock the process of finding your purpose. It has been a beautiful journey for me and I am compelled to share it with all who want to learn and be activated.
