Betrothed was birthed through making bracelets as a gift for women attending a conference, where Zalika Women's ministry was birthed. God led us to make bracelets that had armour pendants on it to remind us of the importance to clothe ourselves in Jesus daily. To remind us that our lives should be lived out of the place which grace afforded us. And once this ministry was launched, I felt the Lord's promise on it. The jewellery designs would come forth from Him that speaks a prophetic message to His bride. The name Betrothed speaks of the promise that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit for the day of redemption, when Christ will come for His bride. Each piece of jewellery is unique, it might have the same design, but then it will have a different colour as even the colour has meaning and purpose. A couple of years ago I started feeling unhappy with the meaning of my name. I didn't know why this suddenly became a big deal. I just knew there had to be more to it than the meaning "lame". As I searched I found that the Greek verb actually had a more positive meaning to it. So from lame it now meant that I was created to be, someone that others could lean on. God gave me revelation that when people uttered your name it was like a prophecy spoken over you and who you are to others.  After this someone gave me a piece of paper with Ephesians 3 written on it, saying that it is Gods’ love letter to me. I read it, but only after reading it a few time I received revelation from these verses (14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.)
